Step 1: Determine Licence Type
Choose between:
Restricted - allows you to carry your own goods within the United Kingdom and the EU.
Standard National - allows you to carry your own goods in the United Kingdom or abroad, or other people’s goods for hire or reward only in the United Kingdom.
Standard International - allows you to carry your own goods, and goods for other people for hire or reward, both in the United Kingdom and on international journeys.
Step 2: Ensure Financial Standing
You must show you have sufficient funds to maintain your vehicles, the amount differs depending on licence type but it must be in an account in the same name as the applicant.
Step 3: Appoint a Transport Manager
