About Us
All Things Transport was founded in 2018 by father and son team, Paul and Leigh Marklove. The objective was to combine Paul’s many years of operational experience with Leigh’s strategic capabilities. Both are passionate about the Logistics industry and particularly transport, trucks, wagons or whatever other term you wish to use for Large Goods Vehicles.
Paul is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire and Leigh in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Leigh Marklove
With a family heritage steeped in transport it was seemingly inevitable Leigh would get involved. Transitioning from Engineering to Transport & Logistics management, Leigh graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2010 complete with a year in industry at Wincanton. Leigh has worked for Wincanton, M&S, ASDA & latterly SCALA Consulting in a variety of roles but essentially always connected to transport operations. Leigh has considerable experience with strategic modelling tools including Paragon & DiPS for major network design and evaluation projects. In addition, Leigh has extensive experience with data analysis, reporting requirements and project management. Recent major projects have included optimisation of a major parcel network and working on a collaborative transport model for FMCG suppliers.
